Sasan Gir

The Gir Forest National Park is one of the oldest sanctuaries in India and is home to the last remaining Asiatic lion.

As well as the lions, the park is home to leopards, sloth bears, jungle cats, striped hyena, golden jackals, mongoose, and civets.

How to access Sasan Gir National Park

The nearest airport to Sasan Gir National Park is Diu Airport which is serviced by regular flights from Mumbai and Delhi. From Dui Airport it is a two-hour drive to the park. The park lies in the north-west state of Gujarat.
