Activities

The Li River is the heart of this area so it really is a must to spend some time on the water; be this bamboo rafting, river kayaking or a river cruise. Visit a local village where age-old artisan crafts still exist, explore the area by bicycle, explore hidden karst caves, trek the Karst Mountains or spend some time shopping in nearby Yangshuo. The town of Fuli is also home to the art of fan painting and it is possible to try your hand at this ancient art.
